
The Star Fragment is a rare drop from the Silver Lynel. The fight should be done in close range as the enemy will fire arrows at you at longer distances.

This will stun the Lynel, leaving it temporary open for melee attacks. The best strategy is to use your bow to perform a headshot. The Lynel is probably the toughest enemy in the game. It will replace the other types after the Blood Moon phase, so that you can find this enemy in the same areas as you found the others. This variant only appears after you defeat the other variants numerous times. Only the Silver Lynel is capable of dropping a Star Fragment. There are several variants: the regular Lynel, White-Maned Lynel, Blue- Maned Lynel and the aforementioned Silver Lynel. Lynels are mini-bosses that you can find sprinkled throughout the world map. As we mentioned above, one of the methods is by killing the Silver Lynels. If you still need more fragments, you will have to farm for the rest. This treasure chest contains a Star Fragment. Once you get to the aforementioned area, you will notice a chest that is being guarded by several enemies. To access the location easily, we highly recommend entering it from the north. Location #6Ī Star Fragment can also be found to the west of Spool Bight, which is located on the middle eastern edge of the map. You can then use your Magnesis Rune ability to locate and pull out the chest containing the fragment. Start feeding the canine and it will eventually lead you towards a general area where a buried treasure chest is located. One you are there, find the dog next to the cooking pot. You can find a fragment at Snowfield Stable, which can be found west of Great Hyrule Forest. After completing the My Hero quest, you will get a Star Fragment as a reward. The Korok Forest is hidden in the Great Hyrule Forest, which is located in the middle northern area of the map. The weapon can be found at Korok Forest although you will need 13 hearts in order to acquire it. To complete this task, you will need the Master Sword in your possession. From there, talk to Aliza, who can be found staring at a big tree right outside the stable, to initiate the My Hero side quest. This station is located southwest of Hyrule Field. The Outskirt Stable is also home to another fragment. Use the image directly below this paragraph as a guide (pay attention to the mini-map, which is pointed north). Since the area is dark at all times, finding it may be a little tricky. Just south of the shrine are multiple treasure chests located on top of broken pillars. This is also where the Ketoh Wawai Shrine is located. There is another fragment located at Thyphlo Ruins, a perpetually dark forest located just north of the Great Hyrule Forest. After successfully finishing the quest, you will get a fragment as a reward. You can complete this task by attaching two Octo Balloons (which are dropped by the Octorok enemies) to the barrel nearest to Shamae. Talk to a kid named Shamae to initiate the Ballon Fight side quest.

Location #2:Īnother Star Fragment is also available at the Woodland Stable, which is located northwest of Hyrule Castle. From there, use your Magnesis Rune ability to locate the treasure and then pull it out from the ground. Feed the dog in the village food (such as apple) and the canine will eventually lead you to a general area of a buried treasure.
